We’ve realised we have quite a bit of useful IT information tucked away in our heads, offline guides and emails, so we thought it would be a good idea to get them online as Customer Guides.
The first guide we’ve published is about ‘phishing’ – emails designed to trick you into revealing confidential information by pretending to be from someone trustworthy, such as a bank.
Our email servers prevent many of these emails reaching end users because they are detected as spam, but increasingly sophisticated methods are making them more difficult to detect automatically. We’ve written about a couple of examples before.
