The Leicester Mercury have reported on David Nicholls’ trip to Number 10 Downing Street.

The news story included a number of quotes:

“We were told there’s going to be some definite help. They’ve got to the point where they have realised small businesses are important and form the bulk of the economy.

“They did say there are going to be a whole lot of measures in the autumn statement that will be good for small business.

“I look forward to seeing the impact the representations my fellow business people and I have made during the autumn statement.”

David was asked for comment through his role as chairman of the Leicestershire branch of the Federation of Small Businesses.
