It has been announced that the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) annual conference will be held in Leicester in 2013.

The event will be held at the Athena conferencing centre, the Curve theatre, Phoenix Square and Ramada Jarvis Hotel. It is estimated that around  800 business people will attend the event and generate as much as £2 million in revenue for the city.

Better-IT’s Managing Director and FSB chairman of Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland, David Nicholls said:

“The competition for the host city for the 2013 conference was extremely strong and Leicester’s bid was unanimously received as the outstanding offer.”
