Better-IT have just completed the transfer of a Nottingham charity to Microsoft Office 365.
Office 365 and cloud computing is particularly suited to this type of organisation which has a very fluid and flexible workforce.
In an environment with many workers on short term contracts, staff working at home and sometimes using their own devices, it is a lot easier to manage users remotely on a cloud-based system.
We were able to get new users up and running within minutes because they could start working using the web-based Office applications straight away, without the full Office 2013 suite being installed.
Microsoft currently offer nonprofit organisations a limited free version of Office 365 and the full enterprise version for a significantly reduced price.
